Macroblock MiniLED is expected to increase mass production this year

By then, the proportion of Macroblock's revenue may grow to a double margin. At the same level, after major brands have entered the MiniLED market one after another, Macroblock MiniLED can be expected to enter the rapid growth track.
According to the corporate circle, MiniLED has already mastered Korean and e-sports notebook brand customers. In the first half of 2021, Macroblock announced that it entered the MiniLED market and continued to improve its yield rate and develop customers.Mass production volume, of which the terminal products of Korean customers are mainly used in large-size TVs, and are mainly supplied with MiniLED backlight technology driver IC products.
In addition, in the client part of e-sports notebook brands, Macroblock has also entered the supply chain with MiniLED backlight technology driver ICs, creating opportunities to start mass production replacement in the second quarter. The supply chain estimates that due to the relative refractive index of large-size TV screens, at least one TV needs to introduce more than 16 MiniLED driver ICs, and notebook gaming screens need 4 to 6, so there is a chance that the number of reductions in 2021 will be comparable. This is a substantial increase from 2020.
In fact, Apple continues to report that it will launch MiniLED Macbooks and iPads in 2021. Although the launch schedule is uncertain, it is certain that Apple is moving towards MiniLED technology. In addition, Samsung has announced the size of MiniLED TVs. The cheapest price is only less than US$1,600. It focuses on the people-friendly route and also symbolizes that the MiniLED generation is about to come in 2021.
It is understood that in addition to the MiniLED backlight technology, Macroblock is currently making every effort to sprint the yield of MiniLED modules, which is driven by the continuous improvement of technologies such as massive transfer, welding and bonding technology, ICT testing and monitoring, PCB board accuracy and warpage control. Next, Macroblock's MiniLED module mass transfer yield has reached a commercial level of 99.99%, and the conversion has the opportunity to start mass transfer in the second half of 2021. Macroblock announced that in January 2021, consolidated revenue reached 192 million, an annual increase of 0.4%. The legal person pointed out that Macroblock is emerging from the operating haze affected by the new crown pneumonia in the second quarter of 2020. It is expected that in the first quarter of 2021, driven by the expansion of mass production of high-end LED driver ICs and MiniLED backlight driver ICs, there will be opportunities for consolidated revenue in a single quarter.
